The P008 Series Energized Symmetrical Piston U-Cup is a popular and versatile design with a wide range of applications. The design features a primary sealing material that is further energized by an elastomeric element, frequently an O-ring. This allows a high sealing force to be created at the sealing lips or allows the use of seal materials that might otherwise have insufficient compression set resistance. This versatility allows this seal to be used across many markets. Manufactured in a variety of materials and sizes from 6 mm up to 1600 mm in standard or custom diameters.

The P008 Series Energized Symmetrical Piston U-Cup features high-grade polyurethane.

Standard materials are machined H-PU, available up to 1600 mm in diameter, and injection-molded TPU.

To suit a variety of applications, the series is also available in NBR, H-NBR, EPDM and high temperature-resistant FPM.
